Hi everyone~
It's not often that I use this platform to bring awareness about serious issues. Sometimes DA doesn't seem like a place where people take things seriously. But this is important and I thought that there's no harm in making a bit of an effort to spread awareness.
So, I wanted to take a moment and inform all of you about the concerning recent research findings of the WWF organisation. (If you don't know what that is, WWF is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1961, working in the field of the wilderness preservation, and the reduction of human impact on the environment.)
I would encourage you to take a few minutes to read through either of these articles:

To summarize, because of human consumption we have decimated 60% of wildlife population in the last 40 years!!
Just let that sink in for a moment... Just think about it, where will that percentage be in 10 or 20 years from now? It took us 40 years to destroy over half of the wildlife population, so how many wild animals do you imagine will be left in the world 40 years in from now if things remain the way they are??
Some of you will say "eh, nothing new", "I'm just one person, what can I even do about this" and ignore this, but just think about the fact that if enough of us actually did something, even as simple as spreading the word, we could make a difference. At least that's what I believe.
It'd be great if you could just take a minute, just one minute, to spread this forward to your friends or family. It's important that we're all aware of what's going on in our planet.
Most of you are still very young, as am I and we have a lot of time left on this earth still. Just think about the fact that our world is being destroyed very very fast and our generation, WE, will have have to witness that and pay the price for human greed. At this rate, to say it plainly, we're fucked. If we don't at least try to do something about it, we'll destroy everything around us and ourselves.

Hi everyone~ 
Let's catch up!
How have you been? I hope everything has been going well for you.
As for me, I'm alright. The past few months were difficult for me, but I pushed through and now things are getting a little better.
I've mostly been active on discord and thankfully I've had some wonderful friends cheering me up & on and keeping me company along the way.
As for art, it's been a while since I posted any here. Summer vacation and exams got in the way, so I wasn't able to focus on art as much as I wanted to. Thankfully though I finished my exams last week so now I finally have more free time to draw. I have been slowwwly working on a few drawings during the past couple of months that I'll be finishing and sharing with you soon.
That said I'll be posting art again starting October 1st (which is in 5 days -eeeek- gotta hurry). I'll attempt to do Drawtober this year and produce a drawing every single day of October. This is the first time I'll be pushing myself this much and committing to something like this. I'm scared that I'll fail the challenge, but I want to at least try my best for as long as I can. Hopefully I'll be able to post consistently every day and if can't do it, at least I tried, right? I think the thing that bothers me the most is that I know that I will mostly be posting sketches because it takes me too long to create a refined, complete drawing. But a simple rough sketch is better than no art at all.
Will you be joining any fun challenges next month?
In general, my life's not very organised at the moment and I'm currently trying to get it under control so I can make the most of my time. I intend to work very hard on both art and my studies as well as certain side projects.
Also, uni classes will be starting soon for me, but thankfully this semester isn't going to be too demanding, which is good.
